Instead of a sticker, my dealer stopped by yesterday to deliver a cake. As some of you may know the Prius has been chosen car of the year 2005 over here in Europe. 8) Not sure if it's a Toyota thing or just an initiative from my dealer, but it's a nice gesture.
Wow... cake. I thought my dealership was nice when they sent me cookies. A cake wouldn't have fared so well in the mail though (bought out of state).
REALLY nice looking cake Batavier! cake? cookies? I only got a Prius from mine and I had to pay for it! Of course, considering the higher price of the Prius in Europe, I guess I'm happy to pay less and buy my own cake.
A cake ! now I've heard it all, i was going to say that takes the cake but that was over the top even for me.

Nice! Back in 2001 when everyone was waiting for a Prius, Toyota sent out multiple little gifts (calculator, manual, etc). We skipped the wait this time and didn't place an order. Not sure if Toyota is still doing those little tokens of appreciation for waiting or not.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(tntna\";p=\"51915)</div> Just a Keyring and three letters of appreciation for waiting
Hmmm.... come to think of it, it's been a while since we got any wild flower seeds from Toyota. They sent out seed packets in the shape of a car on earth day. No manual in advance? Bummer. Not that I'd get any of it, but it was cool getting that stuff while waiting.

They don't give cake in the US because some one will sue over it - maybe a diabetic will take offence or something. ;-)
lol.. true... and a cake still isn't fiar.. some say they didn't get key chains.. i didn't even get the rear bumper cover.. I heard everyone gets them here in the US.. every prius i've seen has it.. but mine. i hate scratches. I'll just have to bake my own cake.. maybe fore my cars 1 year i'll bake myself a cake.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(V8Cobrakid\";p=\"52421)</div> My car has one but I paid for it. The car had the Z1 accessory package - mats, first aid and cargo net. I only asked for the mats, figured OK, the net might be useful (haven't used it yet) and the first-aid kit? Over priced but I put my old one in my wife's car. The applique was already on the car, not real easy to take off I suppose and figured it would be useful. I was going to decide later if I wanted the applique or the tougher Matrix bumper protector. We were in a hurry and I didn't have time to think about having the wheel locks removed. I don't need them. They are a minor PITA I really would rather not have had to purchase.
No, but I'll trade you 4 regular lugnuts for the locking ones, you pay the shipping. I'll even give you the 'key'
