Omaha here too...but no Prius yet.

(I've heard rumors from some of the local Toyota dealerships, that there's one enthusiastic Prius owner here locally who volunteers his Prius for test drives, in exchange for a full tank of gas. Is that person on this board? )

Tempting... but my Prius plans have changed. I'm going to apply for the 2005 JET Program (see www.jetprogramme.org ) since I'm eligible now that I'm just finishing college. It seems they accept about 60% of applicants. If I get accepted, I'll be in Japan for a year and my Prius will have to be a 2007 model. If I don't get accepted, I'm getting on a waiting list (or buying from someone like 1prius001) as soon as I can afford to.

I would be interested in a test drive, but it's not actually necessary. I'm already sold.

I don't know if it ever was active. I would be cool to have some sort of get together though.
