This looks interesting... http://qdis.trustpass.alibaba.com/product/...if/showimg.html http://qdis.co.kr/product/cvi.asp I wonder if this may become an option for a GVIF adaptor for the prius?
Indeed, that looks very promising. Now if only we could find more information about it. There's amazingly little on the manufacturer's site. What inputs does it have? What output resolutions does it support? All I can make out from that picture is what looks like ordinary composite inputs. And more importantly, what does it cost and where can we get it?
Intriguing. Actually they do have a PDF with fairly detailed specs. http://www.qdis.co.kr/data/ftp/rgb%20he.PDF This looks like a good possibility, I think we should contact them. The remaining problem would be getting touchscreen output back out to PC or CanView. After reviewing previous options as well, this seems like our main problem at this point.
Good find, I didn't see that PDF. Yeah, that does sound very interesting. Analog RGB? Also known as VGA, afaik. Might need an adapter cable, but hey, that's easy. Looks like it sits in between the existing factory connections and the MFD to provide a passthrough of the "normal" video as well. Nice. Now I just wonder "how much"? I'm very curious to hear what they say.
