I just received an letter from DMV saying thay are not offer anymore yellow sticker (>85000 sets). Is that mean nomore stickers will be issued even next year?
No, it means there are no more stickers to be issued. Either that or there will be no more stickers. I'm not sure which.

The legislature increased it at one point to the 85,000 (I thought it was 76,000, but their recent letter is probably the final number). That means that, unless the state Assembly and Senate pass a new law, you will not be able to get the car pool lane stickers.
LONG gone- I know people who bought in Jan 07 and missed them- they were not happy. You can buy a used car with them attached- adds about 2,000 to $4,000 to the price- they are good until 2011.....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(yoyoman @ Aug 24 2007, 09:40 PM) </div> The "white" carpool stickers are the only ones still available (there is currently no limit!) The "white" stickers are only available to purchasers of electric and natural gas vehicles, and California recently added a new $3,000 state tax credit in addition to the existing $4,000 federal tax credit for purchases of natural gas vehicles. Antelope Valley residents may also qualify for up to an additional $4,000 rebate, too. That's almost $11,000 in rebates and tax credits for a car that costs a little more than the Prius!

Honda sells an NGV, the Civic GX. Matter of fact, the ad is right on this page. (But that ad probably changes at random.)
I was told that DMV system issuing stickers is down since May and for now they are not issuing any stickers, neither yellow (hybrid) nor white (CNG). No one knows when. Any inside info?
