ScanGauge II Group Buy

I just had a code on another vehicle and used the SG2 out of my Prius to see what is was for and reset it. What a cool little device!

Unfortunately I had to take apart the dash in my Prius to get the cable out, as I have it behind my dash and the display in the storage compartment under the radio. I guess I should buy another cable so I can use the SG2 in other vehicles more easily.

They want $19.95 for the cable, but that seems a bit high. So how about a group buy for extra cables?

I already contacted them and they still said $19.95.

 

Received an email back from Ron at Scangauge and after I told him I am a member of this forum I will get the $14.95 discount. He said we can purchase them through the forum (or call SG), but I can't find them anywhere here.

 

My credit card was charged over 2 weeks ago. When will I receive my scangauge?

At this point, I'd prefer to have my order canceled. I hope they will honor that request, its been over a week since ordering it...and everytime I read this thread there is yet another problem causing delays. I'd prefer to wait a few months until all of these 'quirks' are resolved.

Thanks Danny. I got my Scangauge II today too! Was psyched it came so fast. So the settings I chose were RPM, fWT, LOD, and IGN. Set it up for Hybrid, 1.5 liter engine, 11 gallon tank. Should I change it to 10 gallon tank? Now I just need to dig back into the posts to find the target numbers to shoot for.

And now I will feel more comfortable blocking more of the grill. And see how well the new EBH works.

Too bad people around me look at me like I have two heads when I try to talk about it. Nobody thinks its exciting but me! :blink:

My wife said Ok to a large PriusChat order now that the dealer FINALLY fixed the problem with my '05. If it throws a code again, I can find it myself!

Sorry folks, but I'm having trouble following what is going on with the ScanGauge. It's probably me not being used to the group software and being able to find info that is somewhere. I hope someone will be willing to answer me:

1) Is the way to get the new ScanGauge II via "Prius Accessories" at the top of the Priuschat page or is there still somehow a group buy active, or have I just missed out?

2) Last I saw, Danny was still working with the SGII makers trying to figure out codes, and there was some bug in the SGII. However, I now see that someone managed to get traction battery State of Charge. Are the Prius-specific codes posted somewhere or do they come with the SGII?
