New Prius owner here(05 pkg#6). Very cool car, but it came without a manual. Most of it I can figure out, though I'll find a manual on ebay or somewhere. What should I expect to pay for a manual? Also what I really need is the navigation manual. I can't seem to find one. Is there a separate manual for the GPS system? Is it available anywhere on line? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
They shouldn't be much. You can download them (a bit tedious) from the Toyota Tech info site ( https://techinfo.toyota.com/techInfoPortal/...o.toyota.com%2F ) Somewhere out there there's also a Lexus video tutorial for the NAV that's pretty decent...but I can't seem to find it right now. The system's fairly intuitive, but takes some playing around to get the settings to your liking. I haven't touched my manual in almost 3 years now. I certainly wouldn't spend a lot of money to get it. BT phone programming info is also on the web for free.
The Lexus tutorial is on lexus.com. Click on features or tours or something like that to view the demos.
Besides the above, there are also about 325 poorly documented voice commands, many of which go to the NAV system. You can find self-made listings of the commands on-line, made mostly from the help menu of the NAV system (and some experimentation), but I'll attach a starter PDF here.
