I got a kick out of this prediction, I thought I'd share with the group. This is from a review written shortly prior to the Prius release. ******************* "The redesigned Prius has only just arrived, so expect little if any change for a couple of years. Toyota hopes to sell some 36,000 a year, about a third higher than the prior Prius did in its best year. Some journalists doubted that forecast, but initial orders have been running well ahead of projections, so Toyota may not be so optimistic after all. We'll keep you posted." ******************* Here is a link to the complete article. http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/new/rev...ex.cfm/id/37572 Enjoy, John
Heh, 36,000... I think certain states have had that much demand, not to speak of international sales.
