Lockpick 3 Install... Red Exclamation point!

    Hello,

    this is my first post. Ordered the 299.00 lockkpick 3 (Coastal Electronic). They sent me the wrong one, horrible customer service... Yes I saw all the posts about how bad they are (after I ordered and installed this).

    Anyway, finally got the one for the 2007 Prius. Instructions are spotty at best and they have no troubleshooting.

    Got it all installed, and when I turn on the Pruis now, it has the red exclamation point on the dash (and the car Icon on the top of the map screen with a line though it)! The car seems to work otherwise. I removed the Coastal install and it's still that way.

    I'm wondering if there is a reset I can try? Has anyone seen this?

    I had one red triangle when I installed the lockpick3 for my 2007 Prius. I think it was from disconnecting the plug on the Park button. I held my foot on the brake when I re-started the car and it went out. I have had NO problems with the customer service when calling Coastal. I have talked with Carlos several times and he has always helped. Everything works as advertised. I have a Sirius installed, and a DVD player mounted in the compartment under the radio. Lockpic works great! Maybe I was just lucky :)

    Thanks for the reply. OK, I waited a while and turned the car back on and it went away.

    Seems to work OK, however using the enter destination such as street select during moving is not that great. Seems to grey the screen out as before but them comes back in if you re-touch the top left. Not as nice as you would expect.

    As far as the customer service, I have not talked to technical support, just someone with the ordering. She has a bad attitude and made me feel like it was my fault they sent me the wrong item.

    I have mixed feelings about the lockpick 3. Seems to work somewhat, but not as great as you would think at first. Bad instructions, no toubleshooting tips. Buy with caution. If there were alternatives, I would send it back and try another company.

    we had no issues getting the lockpick installed... however i didn't understand how to get the video to work... i called coastaletech at around 6 p.m. pacific time... they called back and were VERY nice and VERY helpful!

    i also emailed them a couple of times and again... the tone of the emails were both nice and helpful!

    i have no affilitation with coastaletech other than having purchased a few of their products.....

    Can you tell what DVD Player you are using?

    I am trying to find one that will filt under the radio
