Hello, A few weeks ago I asked some advice on the PriusChat.com about what to do after I ran out of service coupons. My 2005 Prius just reached 60,000 miles and the consensus seems to be that the following needs to be done: 1) Oil change ($29.95) 2) Rotate Tires ($29.95) 3) Transmission Fluid change ($152.00) 4) Inspect brakes and suspension. Above I have the prices my dealer is quoting me. Does this seem reasonable? If not, has anyone done a transmission fluid change in the Bay Area, and can you recommend someone? Peninsula or San Jose areas are prefered, but anything in the Bay Area is ok.
I was told by a Toyota tech that most fluids, Tranny, Sparkplugs and Coolant do not need to be changed till 100K......

I have a Prius 2005 that I've put a ton of highway miles on. I haven't changed the plugs nor the transmission fluid. According to the above posts, those should be done. Anything else that needs doing now and that I should watch getting screwed over on?

$30 for tire rotation is too much.. most places charges less than $15. if u get ur tires from discount tires, rotation is free
