Just heard on the local news that CA governor Arnold Schwartzenegger while in Japan to try and drum up trade, toured a Toyota plant and stated he wanted to try and convince them to build a plant for their "popular hybrid" in CA. Perhaps Mr. Hummer could start by driving a hybrid.
Re: Arnold tries to convince Toyota to build hybrid plant in well he HAS a Hydrogen Hummer... you mean getting a whopping 12-15mpg isn't good enough? Totally agree with you. It would be nice, but definitely not a decision led by example. Nice work on passing the stem cell research ammendment down there though. At least even if there's no hybrid plant, CA will be doing something in the right direction.
Re: Arnold tries to convince Toyota to build hybrid plant in In this country that would be the LEFT direction !!

its great that he is using his fame to help pay for fringe programs. many may complain but why shouldnt he?? the state has money problems (who doesnt?) and if he can raise money by marketing himself especially something like commercials that can be done quickly and provide a lot of revenue than he should do it.
