Update DVD nav

    Hello I have a 05 Prius with nav and its version 4.1. I've come across a version 6.1, but not sure if it will work with the prius, the disc is labeled 464210-0750. Thanks.

    While it may work in a Prius, it may not work in a 2005. There are 2 versions, one for 2004-2005 and one for 2005+.

    so how do I know for what version its for?

    Actually, my old disc was 464210-0581

    A quick Google search leads me to believe that this disk is for Toyota Navigation System Generation 5. Your '05 Prius has the 4th generation NAV. The two systems are not compatible.

    alright thx, i kinda new that it was a gen 5 disc, so all gen 4 disc should have the final number to end with 581?

    Don't know. I only Googled the two numbers that you posted. I am sure someone else knows the answer, though.

    The 6.1 upgrade DVD for a Gen 3 unit is labeled 464210-0750 and 86270-33035 (at least in the picture I found)

    I Google'd 464210-0750 and found some files labeled "Toyota Navigation DVD Gen 5 v6 1".

    Something is probably mislabeled (either the description or the file name)
