Hello! Love the pic. Can you give me the specs on the rims you have? We want something stylish but lighter weight than what we have now.. Thanks!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(lass @ Sep 3 2007, 09:39 AM) </div> They are Scion TC 17" rims with Exclaim UHP tires....Weight difference over the stock rims/tire combo was 3lbs. Depending on the type of driving you can expect to lose 2-4mpg. I went this route because the TC rims were pretty free after I sold the stock tires off of it. The UHP were covered by selling my stock touring rims/tires. JON

Hi MTM, Your car looks great. I might be given some TC rims by my brother. Have you experienced any rubbing against the wheel wells when making full lock steering turns? Does anyone have some imput? ~Andrew
I did not hear anyone bitching they where just stating the facts...Lets see you get 17 mpg and they get 50mpg+ so who is the dumb nice person ?? :tsk:
it just looks right, like these wheels belong on the prius. im tempted to take the set off of my 05 tc but i cant. guess ill have to go find a set cause your car looks great but i have a few questions, 1) is the speedo correct or is this basically a +size upgrade? 2) how has the car driven since you change to 17s? if it is just a +size upgrade then both questions are answered.
I have been eying these wheels for a couple months now for the better looks and significant handling improvement. I am willing to take a 4mpg hit- at today's gas prices that comes up to less than $50/ year more fuel. I only have 16.5K on my craptegrities so I may have to wait another year before the upgrade (Wife's order! ).
