I am looking to buy new Prius and have been unable to find one - every dealer i have talked with says they either don't have one or are only selling for MSRP minimum.. anyone on this board from around Tennessee or Florida that has recently found a good deal for a new Prius? Also, does anyone have any information on when the 2008 Prius will be out on lots? Right now most dealers I have talked to have almost no 2007 left on lot..

I won't go for the free advertising here..... but if you send me an email I will give you the name of the dealer I work for here in South Florida. (Palm Beach County) I know for a fact that we have a number of 07s on the lot and the owner does NOT believe in marking up prices above sticker or in charging "dealer fees" which can make for a substantial savings. I turn wrenches for a living, but I love Prius and the other Hybrids and I will always try to help the dealership sell more Prius, Camry HVs and Highlander HVs.

Hello, I bought my Prius about a year ago right before the drop in the full Federal Tax Rebate, so it was hard to find one. I got mine from Toyota of Tampa Bay on Fletcher Ave and had to pay MSRP for mine. If you go through their Internet Dept (see their website for more info) you may get it for a little cheaper, otherwise, you may get an '07 cheaper once the '08 models come in. Have you tried the Costco Discount? I don't know what it is right now, but anything helps. It might even be a good deal if you had to buy the $50 membership. Just look up Costco Auto Program.
