I have found turning her voice off a problem (on my part) in that I am driving, talking to the passengers, and a turn whizzes by because I had no 'alert' warning about it coming up. I finally turned her back on so I could get someplace!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(MarinJohn @ Sep 1 2007, 11:44 AM) </div> I leave her on too, as I have done exactly what you describe. It's pretty embarrassing to miss an exit with all that technology backing you up. Tom
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(MarinJohn @ Sep 1 2007, 10:44 AM) </div> I didn't turn her all the way off. What I turned off was the verbage before the beep that ask you to say a command. She will still tell me where to turn. Now when I push the button all I hear is a beep, then I give the command.Sweet. All ladies should be like that! h I know I'm gonna catch he.. for that.
Quick question... Is voice command only available if you have the NAV option? I have the bluetooth option but no NAV, can I use voice command to make phone calls (e.g. dial 555-1212)? Can't seems to find it in the manual....
