Help MFD failure 2004.. anyone exchange theres?

    Hi all,

    Had the MFD fail today.. :angry:

    Has anyone traded theres in under the toyota mfd exchange program?

    Has any of those failed?

    Is it the "newer" mfd design?

    Just trying to figure out if I should get a junked prius mfd (and maybe have this happen again)
    Or get one under the MFD exchange program?

    I have 115K miles.. so I doubt they would do it for me for free...

    Any help would be apprciated..

    got a used one out of a junked prius..

    Installed it last night..

    works great.. for 300 bucks.. can't complain..

    Did you document/photograph the process? I'm sure others will be interested if you did or if you can at least do a little 'how I did it" thing.

    Did not photgraph it.. although.. I wish I would have..
    IT was fairly easy.. took me all of 20 minutes..

    I will document it in the next few days when I get some time..
    By the way.. if anyone need to have it done.. I would be happy to do it for them..
    Just would have to come to Jersey..lol
