we have a 2008 prius on order after we could not get a 2007 in color, options, etc. Does anyone know when deliveries will start? Also on options, does anyone know if sirius radio will be an option. We are new to this forum so please forgive dumb questions or redundancy.

At the time, the dealer (in Chicago) didn't have hard price or schedule info on the 2008s. They got that info within the last week sometime and called me on Monday morning (8/27). Mine is an NR (Touring package 6) which, as far as I can tell, is identical to a 2007 NR, in terms of options. Everything I've heard is that, except for the new stripped-down model, options and packages are unchanged. (The $150 price bump on mine went to the base price--no change for the option package.) Got my delivery date on 2008. Same colors, options change a little bit. Supposed to have by end of month. Anyone know if Sirius is an option? Options list shows XM for $449 but no Sirius.

I ordered my '08 Seaside Pearl w/ #2 package on Sat. the 8th. Dealer called today, said car was at port today and might actually be here on Saturday the 14th, but probably not any later that Wed the 19th. I'm just up the road from you in DFW.
