<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(btcoco @ Jul 28 2007, 10:56 PM) </div> I'm working on a website. for now the address is http://clubofprii.rshepherd.net/
I'm bummed that I found out about the meeting too late. It did get ideas pumping through my brain. Here are some: 1. Meet at Greystone Mansion in Bev Hills. It's a public park, beautiful grounds, large parking lot, and it's almost always empty (occasional weddings). Also, it's location would be a good starting point for a drive down Sunset to the PCH. Cons: I don't know about restrooms and picnicing is NOT allowed. www.greystonemansion.org 2. Picnic at the Korean Friendship Bell in San Pedro. I can't remember how large the parking lot is, but great place for a picnic, right on the ocean. Cons: it's windy. www.sanpedro.com/panoramas/korean_bell.htm I just thought I would throw those out there. I live in Miracle Mile/Central LA. Can't wait to meet.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(JenGwen323 @ Aug 8 2007, 10:39 PM) </div> thanks for the ideas, I promise we will begin working on the next gathering in the next few weeks, I personally have a lot going on in the next two weeks, but then I can devote some time to the website and the organization of the second meeting. I'm looking forward to meeting you. stay in touch here or PM me and I will be sure to add you to the list. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(btcoco @ Jul 28 2007, 10:56 PM) </div> Brian, I wanted to personally thank you for your hard work on the photos, you did a phenomenal job and I know I certainly appreciate having those memories on "film". You have great skills and I appreciate you lending them to the group on this day, mj
OK, guys, the time has come for a September gathering. Any ideas anyone. something simple like before that would be fun.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(lass @ Aug 13 2007, 12:41 PM) </div> sounds fun, anyone else up for this? let's get some buy in....
OK guys, it usually takes a few tries to get some responses. another gathering before the holidays would be fun, hit me up and if there is reasonable response I will take the lead again on organizing something. If there is no response I will put it off for later in the year.
Hi All, Would love to join in. I live in West L.A. Please send me details for the next event at Thanks, Jeff
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jeffelectric @ Aug 23 2007, 08:27 AM) </div> Hi jeff, glad you joined, I am working on organizing a function right now. Most everyone is busy and not as many have repsonded as did in our last gathering in July. below are the email and website. Stay plugged in and when something is decided I will alert everyone that is interested. www.clubofprii.rshepherd.net
OK, so this time we were looking for some "shade" so that we can hang and talk as long as we want. Below a proposed location and date, any feedback is appreciated. Please RSVP to the below email address. DATE: SEPTEMBER 29, 2007 TIME: 11:00 AM PLACE: Ralph's Parking lot, 5606 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles If there is an interest in doing a drive, please let me know.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(MJGreen @ Aug 25 2007, 11:29 PM) </div> I am available that day, but the Ralph's Parking lot isn't that parking lot underground? May I propose the roof parking lot at "The Grove" there is a great view from up on top and I think the first two hours are free to park? Brian
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(btcoco @ Aug 27 2007, 09:06 PM) </div> Actually tha'ts a great idea. Let's do it !!!!!!
HI GUYS, THERE IS AN UPDATE ON THE LOCATION. PLEASE LOG ON TO THE CLUB SITE FOR THE UDPATE. ANY FUTURE UPDATES WILL BE POSTED IMMEDIATELY. SEE YOU THERE, www.clubofprii.rshepherd.net
Just a Note: Validation Required for Free 2 hr parking at the Grove Parking Garage.... "The primary access to The Grove Los Angeles parking garage is from The Grove Drive (formerly Stanley Avenue). You'll find 3,500 parking spaces here in a seven-story structure. You can park here two hours free with validation from a business in The Grove. If you're also visiting the adjacent Farmers Market, the two complexes do not accept each other's validation. If you want to browse at The Grove but eat at the Farmers Market, park there instead." http://gocalifornia.about.com/od/calamenu/a/grove.htm
click on the site below to join the yahoo groups for any and all updates and pictures. It seems that if we have to pay to park for a bit, I don't see any problem with that personally. The other option is to stay for lunch. We can decide collectively that morning. Any ideas are appreciated and encouraged.
