Has anyone noticed that the center console cover gets dingy quite easily and wears on the corners? I had my early 2004 model in at the dealer (got the car about a year ago) and had the console cover changed because the fabric was separating from the backing near the lever to open the lid. Just wondering if I'm the only one. (My apologies if this has been covered already!)
You're not the only one. I had mine replace two months after I bought the car because the glue let go and the fabric came off....
the center consoles fabric coming off on everyones i think toyota needs to redo that center console it comes off in a matter of months...
I bought a small fluffy towel that matches the upholstery, folded it, and just lay it over the console. It's really not in the way, and makes the console more comfortable to use as an armrest. A small sheepskin "towel" would be nice.

The front seat set from GT Covers includes a center armrest cover that fits fairly well. The seat covers are an exact fit -- they're really great.
Yes, it is a warrantied item. I ran into another owner at the dealership the other day who was having hers replaced in her '04 under warranty.
