Okay, I guess it's not news to anyone that folks in the DC Metro area are busy folks with plenty of stuff clamoring for their time and energy. Is it worthwhile trying to do a local club that actually meets physically? What kinds of topics, activities, etc. would make it worth a couple of hours of your time? It's kind of fun to see other Prii and different options (at least for me  ) but that wont last long. The local forum seems well up to the task of exchanging dealer recommendations, etc. but what can we accomplish as a group? On July 4th RFlagg and I benefited from the post by Tempus and got to show off our Prii in the Hybrid Rally (which will probably be an annual event by the way) so I know you folks have some contacts and ideas. I bet if we'd had a bit more notice some more folks might have made it out from PC. Let's hear from you!
I like the idea of a local club as well, and it was great to meet a fellow PC'er finally! I can't think of anything either, but I'm definately up for suggestions and ideas. -m.
Danny is trying to put together a 2005 Prius calendar and is looking for photographs of member's cars. I was planning on going out with my digital camera and try to find good sites for pictures, but it might be a fun activity for the club.
I thought of the same thing but I think the deadline has already passed for calendar submissions. Maybe we could get some for next year's calendar?
I like the idea of planning and starting to take pictures for the next calendar. If we want to have seasonal pictures (which work well for a calendar), it will give us an objective for several meetings over the next year.
I am glad to join this PriusChat. Getting to hear from other Prius owners and how they enjoy the car is a hoot! I live here in Sterling VA. I hope I can join the meeting. Hopefully I am not working that day. I keep my eyes open. GOOD TO BE PREEEEUS!

If you care for a road trip, we're having one in Richmond on September 29, tentatively. See this thread.
