Normally I cover my Prius when it's not driven. Last night I didn't. Noticed about 2 am that the red theft deterrent light was flashing, and it did so all night. How do you shut this light off, it flashes about every 2 sec. Tried locking the doors, then unlocking them, then locking them with the remote.

Why would you want to shut it off? Are you concerned about running down the battery if the light continues to flash all night? Well don't be. I had a Subaru for 11 years with a flashing alarm light and it takes hardly any power from the battery. Marvin

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(qbee42 @ Aug 18 2007, 08:04 AM) </div> Cause I'm an idiot...the computer did nothing, the forum didn't say anything like"you'll be returned to you forum in a minute" , and it's my first time posting. I tend to leave my car for a week or more at a time and was worried that the flashing for a week or more could run down the battery. But it has been fine for several months now without my knowing that the flashing is going on. The manual just identified what the light was, nothing about that it flashes constantly, nothing about turning it off. Thanks for the help.
