Created by some Transportation Design students at the Instituto Europo di Design in Torino, Italy, this Prius concept vehicle mockup has been drawn up to scream "hybrid!" louder than the current iteration. There's no saying whether the guys at ToMoCo are paying attention to the scribblings of students on the other side of the Earth, but I wouldn't be all that surprised if they took on a similar mentality with next Prius... http://www.htlounge.net/articles/3747/1/20...Hybrid-Among-Us

One of my favorite things about the Prius is how much space I've got in the thing.. That design doesn't look too comfortable.

Wasn't the study that purported that people who bought a Prius did so in order to make a "statement" to others also produced by the geniuses at CNW marketing? <_<
Part of the design is certainly appealing, but a little voice in my head kept asking: "are you SURE you know what is front, and what is back ?"
I'll chime in and say that I think that design looks great! A car ahead of its time should look so futuristic.

Didn't have a Prius then, but I could imagine cruising A1A in one would be just absolutely fabulous. I miss that scenery and weather a lot (but not the idiot cops and corrupt judges though)
Hmm, I can't say that I like it that much. Sure everyone likes a futuristic car, but I've come to love what the current Prius is. Plus the space that is available for transporting luggage etc.... can't be beaten! All concept cars look one way and end up another, so it remains to be seen what we'll end up with in 2010.
I'd have to vote no. It looks like something you would find in a kitchen drawer or at a hospital. I always thought Italian designers had more flair (and soul). I hope they keep trying.
