I have to wonder if perhaps your first attempt was to host the picture on a photo sharing website and then provide a link to that picture. If that's the case, the issue is with the way the photo sharing website is presenting the image. So it's their code, not yours. There have been times when I wanted to share an image with the board, but the code being used by the website is convoluted and it mucks up the tags. In the end, it looks as though you got the picture up as an attachment. Congrats. She's a beaut. Welcome to Priuschat. I have to ask: since you just bought a Prius, why "gas guzzler"?
