How to disable door lock beeps

    Is it possible to disable the beeps heard outside the car when either locking or unlocking the doors?

    Not that I'm aware. I don't like them and wish I could disable them.
    Can this be done by a service tech? I don't know.

    Uh, beeps? My 2004 doesn't beep (except when going backwards)

    Maybe this is a NthAm feature

    i wish the beeps were louder, personally...

    i like to just hit the button as i'm walking away and if there's any traffic or any moderate level of noise, i don't hear it lock...
