Leaving tonight for Montana, then hitting South Dakota, then who knows where my Prius will take me.
Expect lots and lots of pretty Prius/Nature pictures...

OK, I lied. Not too many Prius pictures, but here is what I got:

    This is my baby

    Not Mars (it's Yellowstone)

Unforgettable trip. Did over 3000 miles in a few short days. Prius handled it all beautifully. Averaged 52 mpg. Priuses all over all national parks I visited. Got my first "wave" in Yellowstone. Saw a Seaside Perl, flashed my lights, he waved, I waved.
Then, guess what! That same Prius (identical to mine, except not a Touring) was parked in front of the cabin next to mine, where the guy was staying. Yellowstone uses at least one Prius for their rangers.
In South Dakota, I was driving slowly behind a group of bikers (biggest bike rally was in town) who were walking in the parking lot. One of them turned just to look around for no reason and got startled when he saw a silent car right behind him LMAO! Then they made a sign I should roll down my window. I did and and they started complimenting me on the car. Asked me some questions and gave me thumbs up. It was funny seeing those redneck bikers being so impressed with my Prius.

I'm now back home and ready for another cross country trip!

    That would have been Sturgis.
Those "redneck bikers" are mostly CEOs, CPAs, Orthodontists, and Lawyers. They travel with Platinum AMEX cards.

    *sigh*

    Sturgis, indeed.
Hmm, I don't know about that. There were about half a million of them, doubt they were all CEOs and lawyers. Quite a few rednecks, trust me.. ;-)

But yes, many of them had some ultra expensive six-figure costing choppers...

Oh and if you're ever in SD, check out "Cosmos," the mystery house. Amazing illusion! It's located minutes from Mt. Rushmore.

Yes, I love the decals! They add a very nice touch. Be ready to attract A LOT of attention once you get those...

With the decals and the bra, from certain angles the Prius resembles the Aztek.
