The amazing Tesla: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOl_1S10jTk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oi4wILg3V-Y...ted&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE2Yd-pTS-s...ted&search= http://www.teslamotors.com I'll be getting it as soon as the Solar Pannel option is available. 250 miles per charge is great, but still not enough to get me from Vegas to LA. With the solar pannels, the Sun is the limit.............
Too bad the price is more than half my current home mortgage. It'll be great when the technology is ported to something more affordable.
Prius touring i've read your other post about cars that stick out. Do you mind if i ask what you do to be able to get all these toys?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(ranmandx @ Aug 4 2007, 10:37 PM) </div> I own a plant which produces biodiesel and electricity. So I don't really work much any more. Got people who do it for me, so I have time to enjoy all my little toys
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(PriusTouring07 @ Aug 4 2007, 03:01 AM) </div> The official range was lowered by Tesla to 200 miles per charge recently. One of the major reasons was going to a longer life LiIon battery. Between the original design goal and what is being delivered, there were quite a few other changes that added some weight. In a move VERY unusual for a car company, Tesla explained every modification and why. See the details straight from the CEO: http://www.teslamotors.com/blog2/?p=48 Similarly, the Prius mpg target was 66 mpg, but making the car for the US, the changes needed resulted in a lower mpg.
