Here's a cheap 06 Prius, only $60 so far  I don't know how to post links but here's the site//gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctionsaucitsrh/ Hope this works If you can't find it, go to www.gsaauctions.gov and then search for crash test vehicles, it's the 13th up from the bottom
So if that was the governement crash test- looks like the driver position if fine- that would be a good thing?

I bet you could part that thing out on Ebay for a nice profit. It's located in California. This looks like the kinda thing to make Hobbit drool. I'm betting that the MFD and HV batt are in good shape, there's a couple thousand dollars in resale there alone.
Hell, even the wheels would turn your profit. almost looks like leather seats? Dang, if that was in Indiana I would buy it. Spare battery! Bow chicka wow wow. then scrap all the metal. Thats like $700 right there.
Even all the copper in the motors is valuable for resale at today's copper prices....even if the motors themselves are damaged.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Aug 2 2007, 01:20 PM) </div> For sale: Prius. Low mileage. Needs some body work.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Slair @ Aug 2 2007, 02:36 PM) </div> I doubt they'd buy leather just to do a crash test. But I agree about parting it out. Mats, Tonneau cover, seats, wheels, tires, glove box, wheel, visors, center console, it all starts to add up. Then the mechanicals that are still in good shape, both batteries. Yep. Someone that knew what they were doing could part it out nicely. Wonder what shape the back bumper is in? Back panels and hatch seem to be fine.
