Its 109 downhill. Otherwise I think its limited to 107 or 108, but you get an extra mile or two if you are going downhill. A friend of mine just tested it the other day with me in the car.

Al Gore, III, son of the former VP, was arrested here a few weeks ago doing 103 in his Prius. The L.A. Times had a nice article on the car stating it will boost Prius sales. A follow up article in todays times again mentions his police chase in his Prius. Mr. Gore did one of those police chases that are so popular with the news media. I'm sure it wasn't the type of PR Toyota would have wanted for the car, lol. Regards, Tenor1
