A man I used to work with called me recently. I had lost touch with him and he told me he just wanted to say hello and find out what I was doing. During I conversation I mentioned to him that I was driving a Prius and really liked the car. He told me that he has had one on order for five months at a Bay area Toyota dealer and still had no idea when he would get a car. everytime I read something like this onth is board I m astounded at my luck. I called the dealer last Tuesday to inquire about the car and was told that there was one available. Three hours later we have a silver prius at home. Someone had backed out right before I called and they really wanted it off the lot I guess!
Yeah, that's the way to get one. I can't say we waited at all. We hadn't bothered getting on a list or anything. Had called on a few, but that's about it. Then a dealer called with one everyone had passed on and it was just what we wanted.
