More of what is our country coming too?

Just because you did not hear about it does not mean stuff like that did not occur. There does seem to be a decrease in the "average civility" (or increase in "average savagery") level in the past few years. However the deep depths of human evil and depravity have always existed in all decades, centuries, millennium. As always there are cycles of increased violence (often when a society feels more disjointed/polarized).

All we can do is educate and prepare ourselves, friends, family, and acquaintances for all the different curve balls the future may throw us, whether it be heart disease, a violent assault, or a hurricane. How many of you have taken serious steps to prepare yourself for disasters both natural and man-made? Do you know how to defend yourself and/or your loved ones? Are you physically fit enough to do so? Do you have emergency plans/supplies? Given the number of thoughtful and proactive people here, I'd suspect that lots of us are prepared.

How are you involved with Crossfit?

 

Just a faithful follower of the program for the past 2 years. As a full-time student and working I haven't had the time/money to go to a seminar yet, but I hope to soon. Their rest day discussions are often a bit too right-wing for me, but the workouts are top notch.
