Can anyone here recommend a place in Silicon Valley to get the chrome emblems and trim on my Prius gold plated?

Not sure if they work with individual consumers or not. A few years back I was visiting Santa Clara Plating Co. to pick up some parts and they were gold plating some Lexus emblems for a local dealer. Oh my God...PLEASE just say no to the gold. It is way to 1980's for one of these cars. I expect that junk on junk. Reconsider, please. If not, and you must have gold, any body shop should be able to hook you up with the guys that go around to shops (as called) and do plating on the spot. I have seen it done in person and it is very quick and easy- still lookslike craX though, IMHO.
