First, the good news, my wife and I have a new little passenger named Adelaine, or "Addie" for short! She's 6 lbs. 1 oz., 20 inches of cuteness! http://www.flickr.com/photos/48079921@N00/...57600954709960/ [attachmentid=10037] The bad news is that with side-curtain airbags, VSC, and traction control the Prius is the safer car, and my wife will take over as its primary driver as she carts our new baby around. *sigh* Hopefully we'll run our Honda Accord into the ground around the time the plug-in Prius arrives so we can trade it in and both share the Prius fun!

Awhhh!! Beooteeful! I got arround the safety issue by buying the wife a brand shiny spanking new Gi-Normous Highlander Hybrid. Safe, somewhat efficient, and easier to lift car seats in and out of. Of course, it was also damn expensive, which can be tough when there's a new mouth to feed... Good luck, both with getting sleep and with someday getting the Prius back.
