    [attachmentid=8991]Hello PriusChat Members:

I wanted to share my experience with you on a great new product I found available. This item is very inexpensive but well worth the price. This is a great addition for the Prius.

On E-bay, link: http://stores.ebaycom/PadsPlus?refid=store, they offer some very cool space-age non-slip pads for the interior bin areas of the Prius such as the cup holders, glove box, side doors and center console area. On this E-Bay store, do a search for Prius and the options for this kit will pop-up.

I had issues with soda cans and other small items moving and rattling around these bin areas. That is no longer with these non-slip pads. These pads “grip†whatever is on them and prevent them from moving!

I highly recommend them and suggest every Prius owner should have these. Installation takes 1 minute and is super easy. They are form-fitted and pop right in without any hassle.

PS – I also installed the fog-light protection kit available from this vendor and they fit great as well. 2 minutes to install, and it could prevent a rock chip that could cost you over $200 for new fog lamps! Well worth it.

    Thank you.

interesting... the cupholder ones look good but may be a hassle to clean if you spill something on it. Hopefully they're easy to remove too.

Nice idea, but you could save most of the cost with DIY cutouts from non-slip shelf liner material. Not quite as pretty, but no one except you will see most of them anyway.

I saw that product on eBay a while back but didn't know how well it'd work, so I didn't get it. Thanks for sharing.

To eliminate the annoying clanging, I bought some arts & craft leather ($3) and trim them a bit to fit the bottom of my cup holders. And then taped some felt pad (velcro type) to the innards. Problem solved.

But I still may get the product recommended here, since it has a piece for every compartment in the car.

I just bought these on eBay and love them. They fit perfectly and should have been included as a standard feature of the Prius. Highly recommended.

How does it work in the frontmost cupholder, the one that folds down?
When you fold the holder up and in, does the pad get bent?

These are great! I ordered early Saturday morning and had them with the mail run on monday around noon. That is great service. Wilson does a great job, I also ordered them for my Honda Ridgeline and they fit very well also.

I just bought a set of these off ebay
prior to this thread coming out---
glad to see the majority of people like them.

I also thought of making my own, but by the
time i acquired the right material, made patterns, etc
i thought they were well worth the price---

great minds roll in the same mud eh?

I bought the pad set as well and they fit great, relly help rattles (I carry a bit too much "stuff" sometimes) and the cupholder pads help to stabilize and deaden sound too. For the price, a very good investment. :)

i finally got mine and i have to say.... i like them very much! a very good fit! hubby commented that is was "just mouse pad stuff he cut up".... well... "I" couldn't have made the cuts so nice and neat! so they are a good purchase IMO (i just got the smaller set that is the cup holders and center console/center drawer.... i didn't see the need for the glove box one since i already have some sort of pads from toyota in there!)

Interesting, but the Prius already comes with 5 of those areas covered w/ either a pad or fuzzy stuff, so that cuts the set of 12 down to really a set of 7 unless you want to replace/upgrade what you already have. For me, the only thing that I would like would be for the cupholders so I'm down to a set of 4. So it's not worth it for me but thanks for letting us know about it just the same.

What I really want, though is some non-slip pads for the trunk. I put a velcro-fabric water repellant mat in after I had a soda leak in the trunk, but things slide more on it than they did on the carpet. I'll investigate that some day when I get around to it ...

    EDIT ...
I just saw mention above about the smaller set. That might be worth looking into.

Just got mine too (the smaller set) and they're great - every one fits perfectly. I could have cut them out myself, but it's very nice that I didn't have to.

The pad in the "hidden drawer" was the most important for me. I've been keeping spare change there and it would slide back and forth. This solves the problem.

The one in the front cup holder does fold (slightly) when you close it, but it still stays in place. I put a piece of (included) double-stick tape on it just in case, but I don't think it's necessary.

Installed my 8-piece set today. Nicely cut and perfectly fit.
Very good quality. So sticky you might want to put one on the dash... :)

I recently purchased the deluxe set on non-slip pads. They certainly make a difference in the amount of noise caused by the small items that I put in these compartments. They fit exactly and are very easily installed. I am glad that I discovered these pads on PriusChat. Thank you for an excellent addition to my new Prius!
