i'm sure this is a duplicate post but i was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the navigation prevention "feature" of when u go over 5mph it won't let u enter cmds? that is, w/o having to tear apart the car...
There are many posts here dealing with this issue. It involves cutting the motion wire to the NAV system and inserting a switch, so you can fool it into thinking the car is not moving. Tom

As indicated, there are many posts on this subject. On an 07 you can either live with it, cut the wire or purchase a lockpick unit from Coastaletech. After getting the 07, we tried to live with it but ended up purchasing the lockpick unit. It only takes a minute to install and can be easily unpluged if you want to.
