How many of you remember the game of Beetle, Daddy Beetle? When I was a kid on a long drive we played this game to pass the time. One point for a Beetle (VW of course!) and five points for a VW Bus. After reading on the thread "How many Prius did you see today", and wanting to keep track, I wondered if a new game could start with the Prius count. I think the Super White ones should be worth more than the other colors though..... B) Lee
About ten years ago when my son was in middle school the game he and his friends played was Punch Buggy. If you are the first to see an old Volkswagen and call it, then you can punch the other kid in the arm. The point system (to the best of my recollection) was: beetle beetle convertible beetle bus beetle bus pickup

We call this game "Slug Bug". Yes, the kids slug each other but they don't seem to mind it. However, it got on my nerves and I would always yell at them for hitting each other too hard. After I bought my car in January I started yelling "Orca!" whenever I spotted a Prius, just to annoy my kids. I think the Prius is kind of shaped like an orca and wonder if it could be painted to look like one.

So us kid decided to start counting to 30 at any random time on blind curves or hills. If we made it to 30 before a vehicle came the other way, we lived. If a vehicle came, we died. If one of us started tht game and a Semi or a bus came along, we all LOL. I wouldn't play that game in San Francisco. Way too many Prii out here. Last night I pulled up to a light and had 4 others within 4 cars of me. I swear they are breeding.

My sons and his friends would go with Punch Buggy - no punch backs. After seeing someone post on this board a ways back I now annoy my husband with me-seeus-a-prius - and black pris are good for 2 punches.
