A stock Prius is capable of 110hp net from the hybrid drive system. This guy is selling an item that will increase that output by 20% for $35 plus shipping. Think about it, people with high performance cars spend thousands of dollars trying to eek a few extra horsepower out of their engines. But hey, it is your car and your money...

You can send me the $35 and I will install it for you over the Internet. It will save you from getting your hands dirty. ;)

Even if we accept the graph the seller posted as evidence (and I don't,) looking at it carefully shows that there is little performance gain at low RPMs, and some at the high end. So when you're just driving around, it will be almost exactly the same as the stock engine, but if you floor it, once you reach top speed, you'll have a little more power.

Honestly, how often does a Prius driver floor it?

Bottom line (IMO), IF you believe what the seller is saying, it might give you a little more power when you've got your foot all the way to the floorboard. I'd save my money, or send it to qbee42 (he seems like a nice enough fellow.)

    Regards,

dont waste your money... its all BS...

its something people used to do and dont anymore cause it didnt work... I'm not sure how it was done but it really would cost like 25 cents hahaha and cause you more problems than power gains...
