I just sat in a 2007 White Prius with a Gray cloth interior and the interior seemed a little 'nicer' than a 2005 that I test drove a few weeks ago. The black plastic trim was textured and the cloth fabric was perforated. Possibly these are features unique to the gray cloth interior - since up to now - I've only seen the tan (ivory) interiors? Or alternatively, I'm just imagining the difference in interiors between a 2005 and 2007. Any other changes (improvements) of note between a 2005 and a 2007 other than the availability of a touring package?
One of the changes is the MFD is enhanced. Another is that a rear view camera is available. The sound system also allows you to play MP3 CDs and has an AUX connection for your iPod or other MP3 player. There's also a tire pressure monitor.

Too bad Toyota didn't add a more front seat adjustments along with a telescoping steering wheel on the 2006. About the only thing holding me back (from buying a 2007) is front seat comfort. I think that I need to rent a Prius for a day and see if I can get more comfortable (in the seat). I wonder who rents a Prius in Maryland?
Try Enterprise? They rented one to me a couple years ago when I asked for one for a 3 day trip out of state.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Tideland Prius @ Jul 15 2007, 04:33 PM) </div> I'd need a couple of more inches lower on the rear seats! I sat on the back of the 07 yesterday and my head was touching the roof - not a car i can be chauffeured in I'm 6.2"
yeah.. I can't tell the difference (should 1" make a difference?) cause in both my 05 and the 07 I sat in, my head still brushes the top.
