Hey guys, I have searched over the website using search tool and have seen many options about using an ipod. I am sorry to be another poster asking the same question, but is there an option besides the VAIS and DICE to have aux input. I have an 05 that does not have aux, navigation, and is just the single cd player. It is the base model prius. I really don't mind to use the steering wheel controls, it does not even have to charge my ipod, I just want a way to plug my ipod in and hear it through my car's speakers. I can charge it at night and I don't mind using the ipod itself to select the song (though steering wheel controls would be sweet). Also I would like an aux input so that I can plug my portable dvd player and hear it through the speakers. I saw the post about the potential US version of the glovebox option but it sounds like it is not going to be released to US. thanks a ton jared would this work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-2007-T...sspagenameZWDVW
The cheapest and simplest (excluding the FM tuner options, which usually have poor audio quality) is the PAC AUX-BOX. I bought one from a member here on Priuschat. It was really easy to install and sounds good. Check this thread or website. http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=2...&hl=aux-box http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pacauxbox.html -Peter B
