<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(morpheusx @ Jul 10 2007, 04:17 AM) </div> I'm glad you mentioned that. I'm 34--almost 35. A Prius is not a cheap car. (A base Camry is cheaper.) Most 18 year old's aren't going to pay $24k for their first car (or even $18K for a used one). A few college grads without debt landing a job as an accountant, engineer, etc. might be candidates but most will opt for a small, cooler looking sedan (read: Jetta or Civic) or a coupe (Civic, Cobalt, G35, 3-series). The ones that want a Prius (forestry and art majors) can't afford it. I get compliments from teenage girls at Sonic and the various coffee shop drive-thrus asking me about my car all the time. (They don't think I'm gay, and they know I'm not overcompensating.) They would love to have one, but their parents aren't going to buy them a $24K car.
