I got the 3M tint at Tint Connection-$250 out the door, 2.5 hours. I love it! (Although I think they raised their prices recently).
I went to Southern California Window Tinting in North Hollywood. Small "mom & pop" type place @ 6137 Lankershim Blvd, Unit K, N. Hollywood, CA 91601. 818.506.4811 Sal Cruz is the owner operator. His son drove me home and picked me up later while Sal did the work. I have not yet tinted my Prius, but he did my 02 Thunderbird (including round port hole windows) and he did a great job. (I think I got his name as a referral from either the local Toyota dealer or Lexus dealer. Not sure which one.) If I remember, I think that car was around $180, and I opted NOT for the "lifetime warranty." The results were great and has held up to this day. (Of course, my car does not spend day in and day out in the sun, though.) If none of these are convenient to you, I would call you local Lexus or Mercedes dealer and ask them who they use.
