Took delivery of red 2005 from Carson Toyota on Oct 15, which I named Little Red. I used the same nickname I have for my wife so I don't get into trouble when I spend time with the other. Drove 2150 miles in three days. Set my new personal record of 1050 miles in one day. Averaged 53MPG the first 1000 miles, and 48 the next 1500 miles. I'm a frugal guy and paid MSRP, and I never thought I would say this but this is the only motorcar that I might pay over MSRP for. Enjoyed greatly the ride home from LA to Michigan. Had a wonderful purchase experience at Carson Toyota as they prepped the car perfectly. Little Red performed flawlessly its' first 3000 miles. Thank you very much Linda and Dianne at Carson Toyota, and hello also to Gloria and Andrew and Juan. Just love this car; Just love this car; Just love this car... did I mention? that I just love this car Mr Mel from Michigan.

woah...flashback of Navy days when a fellow crewman had a wife 'Big Red' and a G/F 'Little Red'.. we pulled into port and I heard him say, "there's Big Red...and....... Little Red...standing next to her.... hmmmm... can't say I ever saw the guy again..... BTW... Congrats!!!! Bob Andersen
Oh Mel, I am so sorry I was not there to wave you off! Thanks for being such a sweet guy, though... I heard all about you! Enjoy your new baby, and have a wonderful weekend! I was up in Oregon (in Eugene, where the rest of the family is, had a medical emergency) and I was astounded to see so many Prius up there too! I wonder if anyone from Eugene reads this board. I bet I HAD to have seen your car, I was everywhere up there! Di
