Add me to the list as interested. (Depending, of course, on time and place.) I'm between downtown and Pasadena, and favor something not too far away. Griffith Park is great for me. And July 28 works. -- Rodney

OK EVERYONE! So I scoped the place out earlier today. I've decided to go with your suggestions and keep it very, very simple for our first meeting. The parking lot of the Los Angeles Zoo should be a great centralized place to meet. Below are pictures of landmarks. The "S" section of the parking lot is off to the right side and would leave us more than enough room if lots'of folks showed up. I hope everyone will try to make it. please PM me if you wish to sign up , HOWEVER signing up is not required for your to show. The event will be 7/28 (Saturday) at 10:30am. We will meet and gather until 11:15 and then hit the road to drive through hollywood. The destination will be the Beverly Center. Those that wish to join up at the Beverly Center can expect to meet for lunch Somewhere in or around the Mall. Jerry's deli is one block away. Ah. I just came across this. I'll try to be there too. (Getting up by 11:00 is pretty hard for me on weekends but I'll make an effort)
May try to be there...Will be in Burbank during our vacation trip that day at relatives place...we would be around the corner from griffith/zoo....
