Personalized License Plates

my plates aren't green or gas related..... i have my name!

 

The latest idea I had for a personalized plate for a Prius was:

• GIZMOBL

since it is the nicest car and largest gadget that we've ever owned.

 

I doinked around testing ideas for personalized plates.

I can't have WITCH (darn it)...
BROOM is already taken
MY BRM and MI BRM are taken
TOGOB4 is taken (state of WA, thought I might have a chance...)

I have numbers ... but I have a cool license plate holder that supports an animal rescue organization!

In the state of Washington, official vehicles have plates that begin with W... so, beginning with W is a no-no for personalized plates.

Finally got my plate

 

Not exactly a personalized plate, but I thought this was a pretty cool frame.
Found it while Googling around on the net. Only cost $1.20 (free shipping).

Pretty clairvoyant in hindsight, considering the latest news on Google going hybrid...

and my friend who has a greene Prius and the last name of Greene says: GREENEKR

It's probably for the best.
For a rather short time, I had a pentacle on the back of my Malibu, and the amount of hostility directed at me was daunting! It wasn't even a BIG pent, it was only about 5" across.

I can just imagine what "WITCH" would do...

 

My personalized plate is DEV ROOT

It's a geek thing: /dev/root used to be the hard-drive that contained the Unix OS, root is the superuser/administrator for a Unix/Linux box, and DEV are my initials.

 

My plates came in. I'm pleased.

Sorry, I don't get this one.
Most people don't get mine either (LOTOLV4), so I'm thinking of getting something different. In Illinois you can't have 8 letters, and you can't mix letters and number more than once (otherwise I'd have LOT2LV4, which may have avoided some confusion).
