Incident that occurred yesterday: Driving down in one lane of traffic: A Prius, followed by a Jeep Grand Cherokee, followed by another Prius, followed by me in my Prius.

I saw 8 in one parking lot yesterday, I see a ton driving as well. They are reproducing faster than rabbits!
i rarely saw a prius before we bought ours.... now they seem to be multiplying like little rabbits! i get all excited when i see one.... i HAVE to point it out: "prius"! lol! i'm sure i'm quite annoying to my hubby but it's like we're in some private little prius club (all 1,000,000 of us!) sunday as i was driving home i came upon a red prius.... as they passed me i noticed the lady in the passenger seat smiling..... i wonder is she was smiling about my bumper/window sticker?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(IAO @ Jun 14 2007, 12:42 PM) </div> We have TWO in our family. One for me, one for the wife. The cost ssavings alone made it an easy choice. Even the mother in law has one.
I can pretty much drive an entire week back and forth to work and never see another Prius on the road. Over the weekend, I might see 2 or 3. The parking deck I use at work holds about 500 cars. I have never seen another Prius in the entire deck. I know there are others in this area, just seldom see them.
There's usually at least one other Prius in my office parking lot, sometimes two. But if I really want to see tons of 'em, I just have to drive to Brookline, which seems to be the Prius Capital of Massachusetts.
Well, we have three prii on our block, so I see them pretty regularly. I still get excited when I'm driving down the road and see three in a row (or 3 nearby, or more!). My husband started the "slug prius" game, so that's another reason I get excited when I see one - because I get to punch him. Yes, i'm weird.
I'm seeing more and more in my area too, which is generally not the most progressive of places. I usually see 4-5 a day on my 15 mile commute. When I head to the "metro" areas in the state (Raleigh, etc.), I see tons more, though. On my way to pick up some groceries Sunday, I passed 6 just in the parking lot of the grocery store - 3 on their way out of the lot (all right behind one another!) with another one going into the lot right in front of me. We ended up parking next to one another and there was another Prius right next to their car, plus another in the lot a little further away. We got a good laugh out of it - it was like a mini-Prius convention. Of course, this was at a Whole Foods store, so maybe it's not too surprising - there are always a few in the parking lot when I go
there's a lot more in chicago lately but still way too few IMHO. i still see a shite load of MONSTER TRUCKS. maybe its because even if you tried you couldnt see past them....
You think people get irate when they're following a Prius that's driving slightly under the speed limit? You should see them screaming when I stop to wave in a fellow Prius driver. (for the record, traffic was moving very slowly anyway. This was not a dead-stop from 55MPH. More like 15 MPH)
I've still got the only one in my neighborhood, as far as I know. Outside of that, they're everywhere. I've more or less given up doing the "prius!" spotting thing, unless it's maybe the occasional "classic!" shot. May was a record sales month on these things, by all reports! So the rarity is definitely going down, except perhaps in the ones driven *unlike* any other car or getting appropriately modded. . _H*
Well, I live in the "most liberal city in Texas" but we're still surrounded by monster trucks. I still see at least one other Prius almost every time I drive. My church of about 1000 members now has SIX Prii in the parking lot on Sundays! We're infiltrating the area. Bwahahahaha!
Oh, I saw TWO Prii today! I was on my way home, and waiting to get on the highway, and a white Prius went by... two more cars, and a magnetic grey Prius went by! I pulled in behind the grey one. So, it was white Prius, 2 other cars, grey Prius, white Prius When I got into town, they had, for some reason, turned around, and I got a wave from the lady in the white Prius If you're on here.... HI!!
This one was at our local grocery store/Starbucks stop: Looked to be from the Seattle area, from the license plate holder, and the poor thing has a bit of a ding in the driver's door But, it's always nice to see Prii!
Saw a lot of Prii in VA in April while on vacation. On the North Shore of Boston, starting to see more. A few days ago while leaving WalMart, there were three of us in a row leaving the lot.
