Will be taking my primobile on her first real road trip. Driving from CT to Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine then over to Canada. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gail
Just have fun! One thing I noticed on my first road trip -- I was wearing shorts, and I found the seat cushion (mine is fabric, not leather) to be a bit scratchy after a couple of hours. Luckily I had a beach towel handy so I folded it in half and put in on the seat, and that solved it. I had been comfortable enough in long pants or wearing shorts during short trips, but sitting on the fabric for more than 90 minutes or so was not so great for me. But that was my only problem. So like I said, have fun!

Take a small first aid kit, a flashlight, some emergency high calorie food (granola bars, nuts), cellphone (if you don't have one, get a temporary pre paid one), a compass or a GPS if you don't have Nav.

During cross country I like to top off when I see "low" or "usual" gas prices and I can get a few gallons in the tank. Stopping to stretch every few hours helps the circulation. Above all, enjoy.
bring your camera, and bring extra memory. If your like me try to enjoy more nature by camping out in national parks. You dont even need a tent just a n airbed. Also buya portable tire inflator, i got one which i can also use to inflate the airbed.
A map is pretty good to have, even if you have a nav. Before you go on a longer trip, it's wise to fill up on washer fluid & check tire pressure.
bring your CDs or music collection that you havent heard for a long time, I reserve long trips to review my old music collections Im also planning a trip from toronto to vancouver, at least 48 hrs drive nonstop. Have Fun
