Smugness Alert!! I wonder if those who dont smoke are the fart sniffers like those on south park...
At least there are finally a few more smokers that voted... I was starting to feel bad... just a little though.
Yes, I prefer an indica sativa hybrid. I smoke a few camel lights a day when the kids aren't around. But not in the Prius. Most cars, you can crack the window and very little smoke stays in the car. The Prius aerodynamics don't do so well on this (and I shouldn't smoke in th kid carrier anyways).
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(hycamguy07 @ Jun 8 2007, 08:55 AM) </div> Not only do I not smoke, but I also am not a fart sniffer. Heck... I don't even like the covers pulled over my head for the 'Dutch oven' smell test. B)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(hycamguy07 @ Jun 8 2007, 09:55 AM) </div> NO.... i do NOT smoke... it's a DIGUSTING habit.... YUCK! as for fart sniffing... NO.... i do NOT do that either and i have a HUGE kiniption fit if hubby DARES fart in the same room as i'm in.... EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(hycamguy07 @ Jun 8 2007, 11:55 AM) </div> ROFLMAO! You should do a separate "Drive a hybrid? Sniff farts?" Poll!
For those of you who chose "Quit", I would like to know how many years you have smoked, how many times you quit and started again, and how many years it has been since you have quit. Thanks!
Quit 5 yrs ago, tried to quit about 5 times used the patch and will power getting sick helped to quit. smoked 2-3 packs a day for 28 or so yrs
Non-smoker, and support any and all laws that preserve a person's right to breathe less polluted air.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Presto @ Jun 8 2007, 12:56 PM) </div> hahaha chaching <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(priussoris @ Jun 8 2007, 02:18 PM) </div> wow, why even quit if your that far into it? Its not like your going to get better if you quit. Good job for quitting, but I was just thinking the other day about this. People that smoke like 2 packs a day for 30 years, why do they even try to quit? Whats the benefit / point? I dont smoke so maybe I'm missing out on something. Ya you dont have to buy them anymore, but is that all?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Slair @ Jun 8 2007, 11:46 AM) </div> That's not insignificant, but yes, even people who've smoked a long time show improvement after quitting.
I stopped smoking cigarettes just over four years ago. I'd smoked for about thirty-five years. For most of that time my brand was Camel, the little non-filter cowboy killers. I've wondered what people who smoke do for an ashtray in the Prius.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Slair @ Jun 8 2007, 02:46 PM) </div> Well, I'll tell ya why. My grandfather smoked all his life (started before he was 10), until his 60s, when he developed emphysema. His doc told him to quit, and he did. He finally did die - at 98. He cursed himself, though; he claimed that if he'd had the good sense to not smoke or drink, he'd have made it to 200... and yes, he was serious. I know it's ridiculous, but I think there was such a great change in his overall health after quitting that he really sort of believed that.
