So my gf's family just went to Tustin Toyota for an 07 Prius when the salesmen told them that there is now a lottery system for new HOV stickers. I was under the impression that it was 70,000 sets and no more. Is this sales men just full of it in order to get a sale or is he right?

Im not sure exactly but it was somthing about too many cars now in car pool lane......That is what she told me when I asked if they were going to issue more, and of course if she could be sure to get me on the list
I called the California Air Resources Board (CARB) (hehe) two weeks ago and asked about getting stickers. The guy said they issued 10,000 new stickers at the beginning of the year and they were gone by the end of January. I asked if they were going to issue any more, and he said that it is up to the legislature.
