When I got my Prius, I was worried about the cloth interior.. the texture was nice but it didn't seem stain-resistant at all and there was so much of it. However.. after taking my dog to the vet this morning to get some blood drawn, he left little bloodstains on the front middle compartment and biscuit crumbs/dog drool on the back seat. They wiped off easily with a damp paper towel. I got to the stain within five minutes but still, it's pretty impressive. I was going to get seat covers but I think it'll be fine. I might scotchguard it still.
oh YIKES! you are BRAVE!!!! i would have scotchguarded it the same day (or next day!) and definitely before letting my furry baby in there!!!!!!!!! glad to hear they clean up to easily!!! (i'll still put a blankey down in the back when brie goes for a ride!)
I, too, chose cloth seats, as I'm not a fan of leather. I have been happy, so far, though I've been considering covers. However, even the best covers look fairly crappy. *sigh* Fortunately, my cat doesn't ride in my car much, the youngest kids will be 20 this year, and we, perhaps, aren't as prone to seat damage. We'll see.... I am glad to hear that they wiped clean nicely.
Heh... I always feel like I'm in the minority preferring cloth over leather seats. It's cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, breathes better, and grips or holds you in the seat better.

Gotta get those seat covers and scotchguard! By the way, that's a good-sounding name...
