So I have a new 2007 package #4 prius, and I'm wondering if it is possible to upgrade to the factory navigation system. I already have the steering wheel controls and the map button on the dash. Could the factory navigation system be added easily? Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the site. The short answer is "no" as you would have to replace lots of electronics. For a few hunderd dollars you can get a good aftermarket portable GPS unit that is better than Toyota's. Garmin & amazon.com have good prices.

I agree...although I haven't seen the schematic for the 2007, my understanding is that you would have to replace the cabin wiring harness (about $2500 new) and then buy the parts from toyota ($1500 new). You can sometimes get the parts cheaper, used, but good luck with that.

I would recommend an aftermarket add-on.
