For some reason my DNS cache still had a 24 hour time-to-live on the old A record for priuschat, but once I kicked it the new info showed up. Did you shorten the TTLs in advance of migration? . My only regret would be that you've moved to something under Liquidweb's purview -- they have a history of catering to spammers or at least letting them do their thing, and have been in my mail- server deny file for many months now. This means, until I figure out if there's a way to special-case for it, that priuschat won't be able to send me mail at home. . Hopefully the provider's reputation will remain separated from priuschat's one, but please keep an eye on things.. . _H*

We are actually leasing the server through a 3rd party, and they are managing the server for me. I'll make sure they keep an eye on the spamming issue. Hopefully PC's IP address won't hit a blacklist - I had that problem with 1&1 and Verizon, but was able to get PC placed on the whitelist after I appealed. I can give you the direct IP address if you want to add it to your whitelist. The avatars & uploads are connected - so once one is working, so will the other.
Thanks Danny for all your efforts. It's much appreciated. Everyone just needs to be patient as these things take a little time to work out. It's not even 24 hours yet!
If it's always going to be at 72.52.166.5 and send mail directly from there, then that's easy. Hmm. Why don't I try to send myself a test msg and see what shows up in the log... . _H*

When I go to the Prius store, the text is there but no pictures. I am running a G5 Mac. Does this make a difference? Everything else works well and is much faster. Thank you, jgillas
The requested file upload failed because suitable permissions have not been enabled on the 'uploads' directory. Please contact the board administrator and inform them of this error. Happens with Safari and Firefox.
Hadn't been able to view the site for 24 hours. Tried the modem reboot w/o success so I assumed the upgrade was still ongoing. Finally found Kow's solution of using "72.52.166.5 priuschat.com" in the Windows/32/..... file and that fixed the problem on this PC.
PC shop link throws the following error in Firefox 2.0.0.4: "priuschat.com has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error Code: -12263" After clicking on the error multiple times the page opens without graphics.
New day, new (bug). Spider in the bathtub was so big and hairy that I gave it to the local science teacher to have her class ID it.

Ok, everybody. The uploads/avatars problem should be fixed. We're still having troubles with the PC Shop, so if you want to order anything, please send an email with the products you want to buy to . We can send you either a Google Checkout invoice (preferred), or a PayPal invoice via email - please note your preference in your email to the Shop.
Don't know if this is related to the server upgrade or not: In my PM control panel, I can see messages in my Inbox, but my Sent Items folder is empty even though I have sent PM's within the last 24 hours. Are the sent messages normally saved to my Sent Items folder? Or do I need to change the setup somehow? Thanks
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(dogfriend @ Jun 1 2007, 03:45 PM) </div> It's actually an option you have to check whenver you send a PM - they don't save automatically: "Add a copy of this message to my sent items folder"
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Danny @ Jun 1 2007, 01:28 PM) </div> Ok. Thanks. It works differently than the other forum that I'm used to.
