By popular request, here are Nichole and I's honeymoon pictures from beautiful Hawaii. I haven't taken much time to label them all yet, but you get the idea - we were in paradise, on vacation, and it was great weather. Link to Honeymoon Pictures! Unfortunately no Prius shots, but we did see a few!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(fairclge @ May 30 2007, 06:07 PM) </div> They bought the photos at a tourist shop. You don't think they had time to take photos, do you? Tom
Yeah, we took LOTS of pictures. Of course, we have LOTS of wedding pictures to post - a close friend of ours took around 400 pictures over 2 days at the rehearsal dinner and wedding. As soon as we have our wedding photos, I'll post some up for you guys to check out as well. About 90% of the pictures were taken with a Nikon D40 (which is a great starter DSLR, by the way), and the other 10% were taken with an Olympus IR-300. This is me thinking about PriusChat in Kona: NOT!!!
Danny, It would appear you have a thing for cute blonds. I'll be looking for you at Hybridfest. (great pictures)
My wife and I spent 8 days on Kona for our "weiner dog vacation" (long story, but it ended up being the cheapest vacation I ever had ... we ended up with free room and board, and free airline tickets, and were fed most of the nights.) Its a great island. Are the pictures of the deserted beach with the lava formations from that isolated beach located just north of the airport? You walk about 1/2 mile through ah-ah (a'a?) lava to get there, and its magnificent. (BTW - I was going to upload a pic of the hike through the lava, but got an error messae that the requested file upload failed because "suitable permissions have not been enabled on the "uploads" directory.") Looks like you got to see the volcanic park, and some of the countryside. For anyone planning a trip, we found the "Revealed" book series to be the best ... "The Big Island Revealed" and "Maui Revealed" are both great guides to those islands.
Hum, I hope this won't spell trouble for Prius Chat! "Honey, are you chatting about Prius' again? When are you coming to bed? I am starting to think you like those Prius Chatters more than me!" Opps, sorry, that was my wife.
Danny congrats on your new life (& wife). Beware that all tropical islands have a certain 'pull' which may influence your future vacations. My current avatar was taken last visit. Of the Hawaiian Islands, the Big Island is by far and away my favorite. I've been visiting there since the late 1970's almost annually. After all those visits, last December I decided to take a bus tour of the island to 'learn' all the facts I never knew. It turned out I could embellish the tour guide's 'facts' on each place we stopped. At the end of the tour he offered me a job which I declined since California is where I make my money and Hawaii (among other places) is where I spend it. The Hawaiian Islands and it's peoples are very special and hold a very blessed place in my heart. Now yours too, since it's where you and Nicole had those special moments. Welcome home.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(MarinJohn @ Jun 1 2007, 12:41 PM) </div> It's funny - this is exactly how Nichole and I felt after we left. We've both grown up being around/near the beach here in SC, and people always talk about how warm & friendly people are here in the South, but Hawaii really took that friendliness to a new level. The wonderful people in Hawaii just seemed genuinely glad to see you (which they should, since 99% of their economy is tourism) and were more than happy to help with anything. It sounds like next time we go (and we will definitely go back!), we need to bring you along! The Big Island was right up our alley - quiet, relaxed, but filled with plenty of adventure.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Danny @ Jun 1 2007, 11:21 AM) </div> Aw dang. But she was OK with leaving the scary full-flesh ones of you up?! Don't make me post an example!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Danny @ Jun 1 2007, 10:39 AM) </div> Does that mean all of us? Seriously... congrats Danny! Best wishes to you and Nicole for a long and happy marriage!
